STUDENT EMS PLACEMENTS
Wood Veterinary Group takes part in the University EMS Placement Scheme. We can normally take one veterinary student per area of discipline (Small Animal or Farm) at one time.
Due to the demand for these placements these are normally restricted to a maximum of two weeks.
Vet Students will need to arrange for your own accommodation locally and have your own transport, especially for farm placements, where you may need to travel to meet the vet at the start of the working day.
Please be aware that all work experience students at Wood Veterinary Group must be 16 and over. If you would like to be considered for a placement, then please contact Natalie Hazzard at firstname.lastname@example.org detailing a bit about yourself, confirming your date of birth, the best contact number for you and the dates you would like to undertake your placement.
Natalie will contact you directly to discuss and you may need to come in for an informal interview. These placements are for either one or two weeks and prove very popular so it would be best to contact us early to avoid disappointment.
