Meet our farm team

Pieter worked as a farm vet in the Netherlands before moving to Gloucestershire with his family and their dog. He loves working with our farmers and smallholders to find the best solutions for their animals and businesses, and enjoys working at the intersection of animal, human and environmental health, tackling all the challenges that come with this.

Ellie is a dedicated farm veterinary technician with a passion for cows. She makes great use of her sense of humour while doing her rounds, and is something of an online shopping addict. She loves spending her free time with her family and friends.

I have worked in the farm team for almost 4 years as farm administrator, often referred to as the mother hen of the team! I enjoy co-ordinating the schedule of the vets, supporting them and of course speaking to and supporting our lovely clients.  Known for my friendly approach, and cheerful disposition I’m always on hand to help.

Outside of work, I enjoy socializing, as well as spending time with family and friends which I cherish.  I love horse riding, which unfortunately I don’t get much chance to do these days, and walking.

Before joining our team in 2019, Julie worked in agricultural legislation administration, disease monitoring and farm conservation. She loves being outdoors, whether walking, cycling, going on camping trips or escaping to her allotment. She is also a keen crafter, and likes to sew, draw and make things in her spare time. Her pet cat rules the roost!

Merissa has been with us since 2019 and helps to organise our saying goodbye protocols, ensuring our clients receive compassionate support and guidance during difficult times. She has also completed mental health first aid training.
